I sold my good 16' Alweld jon boat last night.
I feel sad. Like I shouldn't have done that.
It was good, never trouble. Some problems with the motor a couple years ago.
It was all set up and comfortable. I didn't get all the money I asked for, but....
Bummer!

No Charlie, I kept my Rowing boat.
I still have the big Ranger bass boat too. I'm having dreams of rebuilding that Bass boat and actually using it.
I miss that Jon boat already.
Good stable boat to stand up and walk around in. Which that little Row boat is NOT!

Heh! I don't have good memories with jon boats. 'bout 50 years ago I got in one at the dock and quickly flipped it...it just rolled.

Just use the boat that runs on lake water.

Boy a 20' Jon. We needed that in the Alaska rivers.

I'm so old I'm looking for a 12' that I can Row!
Wood or Metal.

10' beam!! Wow, that sure ain't the length to beam ratio of that 'ol jon boat I remember. I think it was 10-12' but 4' at the very most. Come to think of it, my little dink I never fixed up sure needs a home. 14' X 4' fiberglass with single axle trailer.

Thud, you know anyone that can pick it up for you. I'm afraid it's turning into a planter. I could send that 20' searay along with it.
