Jon-
I had cockpit, bridge and hatch covers made last fall. I used "The Canvas Shop on Wheels" out of Darlington. They don't advertise because they're small (husband & wife) and keep busy enough with referrals. Dave & Dot (410)836-3700. When I was shopping I got 3 prices (the others were Canvas Plus and Starbird) and Dot's price was about 8% higher. After seeing their excellent work I was convinced it was worth it. Another reason I used them was they were willing to meet my deadline- which they did. The other 2 shops would not guarantee a finish date.
As far as the wood deck and carpet, you should do it yourself. Use marine or pressure treated plywood and exterior carpet. I re-carpeted a 23 footer maybe 8 years ago and it was fairly easy. I made a cardboard pattern and used it to cut the carpet correctly. A contractor will charge big bucks to demo and replace it. It's not a bad job if you don't mind getting dirty and you'll learn a lot about your boat. The new carpet should be snap-in so it can be removed for cleaning.
