Carver owners count off

Greg, boat looks very nicely maintained; you found a nice one. Only issue I see from your photos is that there looks to be exposed + DC wiring terminals near the battery box between the engines. The USCG will 'gig you on that. Don't mean to be critical, but it was something that I noticed.

Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like all you have to do is to slide those red covers up over the terminals.

Its just a guess, but I bet you'll see above 1mpg at "trawler" speed.

Otherwise, I am really impressed with the condition of the boat.

Thanks....and you're right about the wiring. It's among a long list of stuff the surveyor found. All is being repaired this week prior to possession.

1 mpg.....I hope for better. At that rate, I'm better off to run at cruising speed. Time is money.

ok, i'll claim #72. we just bought a 1996 320 voyager. it's being shipped to us and should arrive in a few weeks after a few minor survey items are taken care of.
 
Should have posted to this tread earlier. I'll take #73. Bought a '99 356 Aft Cabin in February. She goes in on May 10th! Can't wait!

Hi Captains, I just found this forum. I've been posting on the BoatUS forum for a few years under Out'nAbout but I had sold that (330 sea Ray Out'nAboutboat) a few years ago.

BTW, going for my Masters Upgrade this weekend. If all goes well I hope to get the 100 Ton in a few more weeks.
 
77 on the hopes that the seatrials check out this weekend on the '89 27' Montego!!! Hope to have by end of month with name purge and renaming ceremony on Mother's Day in St Mary's GA.
