Does anyone have a recommendation on what to use to clean the hull, without water, prior to re-applying Rejex?

The position in the yard would make it difficult to run a hose and messy for everyone else. Everything should come off pretty easy but there's black streaks and such that I want to clean well before putting a fresh coat on.

My impression: Trigger spray window cleaner and sponge. Rinse sponge frequently in bucket of water & wring out. Use window cleaner without ammonia, however, as that would likely interfere with any finish.

Black streak remover for the streaks followed by vinegar and water wipe down.

For the tough spots/ back streaks, Collinite Fiberglass Boat Cleaner , then as noted by Bill, distilled white vinegar/water wipe down. If your boat is slightly dull, you could go to the extent of buffing with a light glaze like Finesse-IT II in lieu of the above. Rejex is great stuff but it will seal in whatever is on there and keep it shiny. Follow the directions carefully!

Vinegar and water...well the wife will like that (she's loco about chemicals). What is the application specifics? damp vinegar, damp water, dry with a towel? Collinite sounds about right as it's not a compound but will provide some cleaning capability. Thanks.

Tim, I don't how dirty your boat is, or how much of the other critical ingredient, elbow grease, you have so can't answer. Start with say, a 50-50 mix water/distilled vinegar. Nothing bad can happen so play around with it. When done wipe with a very damp 100% water cloth and then chamois.
