The clear vinyl windows in my canvas are cloudy and dirty. I'm trying to determine the best way to clean them and bring them back closer to their original condition. I know I must be careful to not use anything abrasive as I'm sure it would scratch the material. Harsh chemicals are probably a no-no also. Any suggetions on how to clean and restore them?

210 Cleaner is very good. It will remove dirt. Cloudiness is age, and that probably won't come off.

I'm not familiar with 210 cleaner. Is there a brand name and where can I buy it?

If you use Pledge, be sure it is not "flavored" with lemon or orange or anything acidic. You can prevent the cloudiness by keeping them clean with water and a nonabrasive cloth and by using a high quality polish which will replenish moisture. When not in use, store them flat and out of the sun.

You may want to replace them now and then treat them correctly for the future. My first set lasted eleven years in a covered slip......

Armada 210. BoatFix sells it as well as most good marine stores. But like Richela said, if they are cloudy they are likely old and will need to be replaced.

This worked for me. Finess-it followed by Meguiars Plas-tex followed by 303. My windows were in bad shape and now look almost new.It took about an hour a window, but I save a ton of money not replacing fly bridge and aft cabin enclosure. You need to hand buff with a foam pad, then hand apply [foam pad] Meguiars and finish off with #303 protectant. Good Luck
