I started thinking about getting my drives ready to go and I want to also clean up my Stainless Steel props.
I powerwashed the drives and props as soon as the boat came out of the water so the barnacles are off the props, but they still look like carp and are all gunked up from sitting in saltwater.
Does anyone have any experience cleaning them up? Anything that works well?

You could try them 3M disks on a right-angle air grinder.

Try some muratic acid. I use it straight from the jug. Some dilute it. Put in an old spray bottle. Low or no wind day. Wear eye protection and a mask plus old clothes and shoes. Rinse with water. The acid should be available at hardware stores. It will etch concrete/asphalt and kill any plants.

Just another Schnuk

Now for the easy way
Get a 30 gallons bucket or something the entire prop will fit in.
Fill with water and lime away or equivalent.
Soak overnight
Rinse clean
Bingo just like new

I just soak the ss props in pure vinegar and they polish up bright and clean.
