Did not do a good job cleaning it last year and now it is filty. Any suggestions for cleaning it up

Did mine once with Simple Green and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser....came out great!

I think the Magic Eraser did most of the work. Make sure you have a few if you really have to scrub....mine fell apart once I used it for awhile but it was well worth the effort.

I've had great luck with spray nine....buy it Home Depot in the gallon jugs...

Spray 9 is actually better than the Simple Green.....I forgot about that! But they both work great with the Eraser.

...And finish up with a coat of 303, or use the Magic eraser wetted with the 303 instead of water or Spray 9 and save a step.

Heard somewhere that Fast Orange hand cleaner; w/pumice works well. Have not yet tried it tho'

It is supposed to "fall apart". It is actually a very, very fine abrasive that comes off the pad and does the cleaning. That's why it works so well on textured surfaces.

Thanks for that info Ron! I always thought I was rubbing too hard.

I've used Aurora Speed Clean on my hypalon inflatable...It looked brand new after I was done!

Works very well. But it's hard to beat Magic Erasers.

I wouldn't use Simple Green on Hypalon. Most inflatable boat cleaners have toluene as the 'power' ingredient - it's the same solvent you'd use to prep it for repairs. It will harm you more than the fabric, so take due notice thereof and govern yourself accordingly. Follow it up with a couple applications of 303 - NEVER, EVER use Armor-All on an inflatable. It will dull out worse than it was when it wears off, WILL damage the Hypalon in the long term, and will prevent ANY future repairs from ever bonding properly.

Armor-All is bad, bad news for Hypalon.
