I've got fiberglass side panels that mount to the railings approx 3'X5' that have an airbrushed graphic on them. The clear coating is now coming off at the edges. Back in the day when I did some bike painting, I used a clear lacquer over the color coat. Is there anything new today that might hold up better and/or will bond to the existing clear coat? Advice appreciated.

I just remembered a great rattle can clear you can spray yourself. Its Duplicolor truck, rv and auto clear coat. Its an acrylic lacquer and this stuff is very tough yet has flexibility so it won't crack. You can get it at most auto parts stores. wear a respirator when spraying this stuff and follow the directions carefully.
