Clearcoat does such a good job over automobile paint that I have been wondering about using it over items we paint that may be used around the water. I was wondering about outboard skegs, galvanized items that are painted, boat trailer parts etc. It would be relatively easy to spray a clearcoat finish over a lot of these small items if there was some real advantage. Is there any and if so what would be the best clear finish to use/
