Lookin to go lazy and have Jose detail the boat before spash day. I'm in the anchorage in Lindenhurst. I've seen the Crystal shine guys around.

1. Anyone use em?
2. Anyone got the number?
3. Anyone reccomend anyone else?

Thanks muchly

1) Never used him for waxing, let me know how it is and what they charge.
2) 631-384-9463
3) I think there is a guy on here who waxes boats and some people used him, maybe he will respond. I forget his name or id.

I and a few others at the LIYC use Crystal Shine. Jose and team do a good job. They are better than most and the price is right. I have used them 2 1/2 seasons and I am set up on a weekly schedule.

Waves and Wheels are also very good, but more $'s.

For me on a weekly basis Crystal Shine was easier on the pocket and the service is reliable.

I have them wax the hull before launch in the spring. They do a good job and the price is reasonable. I have other friends who use them for complete detailing and the weekly cleaning and they are all happy with the service.

Any idea what his number is?

Dave, I think I'm the guy you're referring too. I was going to post over the next few weeks. Not ready to start cleaning yet. Need slightly warmer weather. I also realized that after looking at Walter's boat last year I can only do boats 30 feet and under and only cruiser or cuddy style, no convertibles. Hey, I'm only one man! For $10 per foot I'll do entire boat; cockpit gets cleaned and everything protected with wax or 303, entire hull/deck gets cleaned and protected (either straight wax or cleaner wax depending on what's needed) Arches extra $20. Eric Haller-631-431-6916. Thx

Eric,
Yeah, it was you I was thinking of. Walter, should chime in with a reference.
Whatever happned to 'lil boat? Still need milk for that coffee?
hahaha

I never did Walter's boat. I felt bad because it really needed a cleaning but his boat has sooo much fiberglass it would've taken me 2 days, and probably would've killed me. The bridge structure is so hard to do and I couldn't reach a lot of areas. I did a 290 Amberjack for Joe C., he's the one that recommended me to Walter. BTW- I hope he found someone able to do a boat that size, and do a nice job. And yes, I still have my 26' Four Winns, and it's now well stocked. It was sugar, not milk! Hope to see you out there, unfortunately it won't be at TJ's.

Eric,
U should feel real bad ... walters boat looks like hell......

The guy doenst take care of his toys... its sad....

My 2cents and im sure Don will say again im repeating myself. If u want ur boat to look great not good call waves and wheels ....

nothing more to say ...

Kap. You available before 4/7? I got two boats (side by side). A 32 Carver AFt and a 30 Searay Sedan Bridge. Compound/wax etc etc.....

Absolutely Doug. I looked at the two boats & left you a message. Just let me know what you might want to do.

Rob: can you email waves and wheels info and do you know if they will come over to SS3? I know you know SS3's policy about outsiders. It really s**cks. My email address is bhs19682003**yahoo.com.
Thanks,

OJ
