Have side exhausts.
On long runs, I get light diesel soot on the last 1/4 of the sides.
Looking for a product that makes the soot not able to stick.
Any input would be helpful
Thank You

Good luck, if you find something post it here because diesel soot is a problem for me on trucks and towed equipment. I do know that Spray Nine marine degreaser will remove it quickly, spray on rinse off. Probablly takes the wax off too. A good wax job may help make the soot rinse off easier. Perhaps a teflon based wax/polish?

Also, it is best to use 2 or more coats of Rejex. Especially in the areas where you get the soot, 3 may be better in the soot area. I know you just waxed your boat Wayne so you will have to remove the wax before applying the Rejex for best results.

Ditto Rejex. But you might want to look into why you are creating that much soot to begin with.

Thank You, just ordered it.
John, do you think one 16oz bottle will do the last 1/4 of the sides two or three coats?

I'd get 2 bottles and do the entire hull Wayne. The product is well worth it and it's so easy to apply. That said one 16oz should do what you asked.

A quick wash with Dawn to remove the wax, then a driwash or buff magic as needed, and apply the Rejex. You do have to wait 8-12 hours between coats of Rejex though.

Zaino.

You only have to wait 20 - 1 hours between coats at the most. Super easy to apply. And while most boat shops will get the soot off after you apply the Zaino, if you have to use degreaser, I've found you can wash Zaino down with it at least 3 or 4 times before the water stops beading up and you have to reapply the Zaino.
