dock parts

I just had a new finger slip built, and I am planning to cover it in that lovely Astroturf, and put dock guards on the side. Question - where (besides worst marine) is a good local place to get some, and what do you all suggest? (I have already looked at Boatfix, and may do that...need to know what the best choice will be)

also - when any of you have installed that lovely astroturf, have you nailed, stapled, or glued it to the wood?

NOt sure where you are located but karol bolts in East Rockaway is very resonable for dock parts and materialsbut do not know if they are open on Saturdays.
