Sick of the foot pump. Can anyone recommend an electric, prefer DC, air pump with adequate pressure to inflate a dingy? Thanks.

If you can do AC a small shop vac works great and has other uses

I have been inflating my dingy and high pressure Aris kayak with a Coleman Rechargeable Quick Pump for years. Once charged the battery will inflate them a dozen times before it needs a recharge. The pump will low pressure inflate them in a couple of minutes. I use my high pressure hand pump to top them off, the dinghy to 3.5 psi and the kayak to 6.5 psi. I highly recommend using an electric pump...I can't imagine hand or foot pumping a complete inflatable from empty on a hot day. I own the one I linked which has a really great price.

Metro Magic's .4 psi is about the same pressure you will get from the Coleman. If you want a real high pressure pump that will go to 3.5+ psi you'll pay 150+ dollars.

starts with Low pressure for volume and then auto switches to high perssure to top off

Why does it seem all the high pressure options 9 to 12 PSi need batteries versus being ac? I would like to buy an AC one if they exist..

the bravo came with Battery charged by 12v or just 12v.

I guess that may be the case, but the AC pump we use looks like the Metro Magic pictured, and it only takes about 4 minutes to fully inflate all three of our RIB tubes. MUCH faster than with the DC Coleman-style... which actually works easily enough, just slower.

WM has an A/C high volume pump (does 3 psi) for less than $90. I got one from Overtn for a bit less than that. Where, oh where, is Boatfix???
