Got hauled out, winterized the water system, AC, waste, engines and genny. Started putting up the Kover-Klamp frame. Should have it covered very soon.

The good news for us is if you hauled out then it must be getting closer to launch date for the rest of us.

We made it to Hope Town almost a couple of weeks ago... But wow is the fuel expensive this year.

Our season just got extended another couple of weeks. Waiting for our new winter cover to be made.

If all goes as planned, I'm coming out Saturday. Unfortunately it will be outside for the first time. Definitely going to need a door installed.

Finished the KoverKlamp frame today. The second year is a lot easier than the first!

Tarp goes on Friday, when my sons are home from school to help me.

I slept on the boat 104 nights this season, put 45 hours on the engines.

Two trips, our two week jaunt out east to Montauk, Block and Old Saybrook. Also spent a weekend at Torches, which we'll do again.

All-in-all, it was a great season, the weather was good (except for Sandy), the boat ran fine and we had lots of great times.

I too had a great season I didn't spent anywhere near the amount of nights on board but did travel a bit this year. I put a little over 50 hours on the engines but much more on Benny:)

What is the Benny option? j/k. Glad you both had a good season and plenty of fun time on the boat. I am already looking forward to next season.

With all of the bad news barns out there it is certainly good to hear that in spite of it all, people still had a great time.
A weekend at Torches? Were you at their dock or the one down stream. I think it's called the Front Street dock. We spent a night there and wow was it noisy. The police rolled in early in the morning to shut it down.

We stayed at Torches. It was the end of the season, only a couple of other boats there. I'm sure the place is loud in the summer.

I will agree that it was a great season with nice trips and great weather with the exception of Sandy who really messed up my boating. Now if only I could get along with a broker I may have a nice new (to me) boat next year. Otherwise I will be rafting up in Bowline with my dingy, and berthing it in a really big slip. Of course it will then be easier to take a ride over to Mike for a famous Mudslide. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

When you hear the blender going, it's mudslide time!

A number of months about I made a typo or a auto correct don't really remember at this point but I meant to type genny and it became an ongoing joke for a while. We had many genny threads this season!

Lol Dave. I do remember that. I was just poking a little fun with you.

And to think, I thought he was referring to Ben Diss...

Good luck adjusting to life on land. After splashing on March 15, spending over 100 nights on board and putting over 200 hours on traveling everywhere from Chicago to Canada to MI, we hauled on the 15th. Although probably good for my liver, being a land lubber sucks...

Have a great Thanksgiving...

I have started to get used to reading through Dave's typos...

Same here. I'm so used to his sentences not making sense I just read them the way I think he meant them.
