Engine rust

I have a "new to me" 2006 ALbin with a Yanmar 6LP diesel. There are a number of spots, mainly engine bolts around the valve cover that are starting to develop rust. Whats the best way to fix this. Many of the bolts are recessed in very narrow areas which seem to prevent the use of a wire bush to remove the rust before painting. Should I use a product like "git rust", a rust to metal converter first, then paint or a special type of engine paint? Any tips will be appreciated.

yes, scrape everything you can get at first, flush with water and dry then use corrosion pro and after painting use an anti corrosion coating such has corrosion pro on everything
