We were out last Sunday, Tellers' Point - Caught the outgoing tide. 4 catfish and an eel . . !

I put my boat in on 4/18. The first three trips out I got 5 stripers. The biggest was 18". I was between Croton Point and the Haverstraw quarry out in the middle. The next three trips netted catfish and perch. I was out also sunday morning on the outgoing tide and nothing. Harold in our local bait shop says things have been slow. Last year they were jumping in the boat. I hear they are catching big ones by the TZ bridge at night. but I don't want to go that far especially at night. If you find them let me know.

Changing the subject, several years ago there was an ad for your snack bar in Boating on the Hudson saying it was open to the public. I called the number and was told to enter and tie up to the docks on the right which we did. The food was good. Can we still do that and if so when does it open? We had a nice restaurant but it was wrecked by Sandy. Planning to go out fishing saturday. I'll let you know how I make out.
