Fix small feature bottom hull damage

I have a few places on the bottom of the hull that have went through the gelcoat. If you would take a 1/2 dowel and cut across the dia close to size of damage. Length about 2 inches. Fiberglass is exposed but not through. Not able to see inside hull this spot below fuel tank. Wondering how to fix properly.
