I'm experience with auto type waxes, both the apply, let dry, wipe off type, and the Simonize apply and buff till your arm hurts type. At the recommendations of a number of people on various boating forum, I bought Fleetwax to do our 24' Chaparral cruiser. I've washed and power-buff polished it. I'm ready to use the Fleetwax. Its instructions state to wipe in on and then wipe it off before it dries. Since this stuff is expensive and I don't want to have to do the job twice, I just want to check on your experience and suggestion concerning Fleetwax. Should I use the buffer once I've applied it, or should I just use good cotton cloths to wipe it off? If I should use a buffer, am I better off using the cotton pad or the "wool" pad? Comments? Thanks. Hy
