Has anyone used the Flitz Eisenglass Restoration kit? Does it work or is it a waste of money?

Haven't used Flitz but just about any mild abrasive including toothpaste will remove slight haze or even light colored burn marks from hot support tubing. I have used automotive polishing compound with acceptable results. Bring it back like new ???? Not likely; but depending on severity of damage a definite improvement.

How bad is the glass? I use Imar to clean or Yacht Brite Strataglass.

Is your glass Strataglass or just vinyl?

Strataglass is "just" DP (double polished vinyl) with an anti-scratch coating.

Never tried Flitz, but I've had very good luck on Eisenglass with Meguiars 10 and 17.

Is it time for the annual Pledge debate?

How do you tell the difference between Isenglass, STratoglass and other glass?

mine's just vinyl, strataglass is usually a bit thicker with the anti scratch added...

I don't know about the full kit, but I've used Flitz to buff out some minor scratches in vinyl. It worked very well (and it also removes rust on stainless).
