Spent Friday in the slip putting the finishing touches on my bright work varnishing. I enjoyed the company of Comfortably Numb and his lovely wife, Suzy, onboard FlyWright in the marina Friday night for an after dinner cocktail.

The Admiral showed up midday Saturday and we made it out to Bedroom #3 on Saturday around 1:30.

Our friends from Riverboat Marina were already there and 'priming the pump' when we arrived. We joined the raft up at the end and had a wonderful time with some great folks. It was great to get to know my marina neighbors better. We always enjoy meeting new friends and visiting new boats.

We broke from the pack mid-afternoon Sunday and took the trip against the howling wind back up the SJ to Riverboat. Tucked into the slip with little wind and current. Gotta love a protected slip!!

Sounds like a good time. I was trying my best to get out that way, but just to many things going on. By the way Al, there was one good thing about me not being able to go. I found a 2hp Honda for sale on craigslist and went up to Sacramento on Saturday and bought it. When I get back from Salt Lake City, I am going to take it with me and try a little fishing at Spicer Res. when we're not riding the quads.

While you make the rounds at Riverboat, make sure you meet Howie and Bingo. Howie is the one with a grey muzzle and Bingo is the cool one. They are your security agents. Howie can be bought with brandy, Bingo prefers rawhide bones.
