Before anyone throws me out of here for being a SeaRay guy hanging out in the Carver Owners forum, I wanted to point out that Carver threads have outpaced all of the other mfr BE forums, including SeaRay and Regal! (but don't tell Rommer - he'll take it personally and there's no reason to upset him)

Way to go guys! So now that this seems to be the happenin' place, may I stay?

Congrats to the Carver group.

See, I'm not upset. Some things are meant to be and others get moved to NBR!

lol lurking here too I see! I think the Carver guys should be better hosts and start serving beer.

Maybe you'll even decide to help support this great site:

I don't see an anchor under your name...

Tread very lightly, this is eactly what happens when a spy lobs a bomb into neutral territory.
They start out polite and complimentary and the next thing you know they have started a squabble between family members.
Give him a beer and send him home. If he returns ask him to help test your anchor rope.
Blood is thicker than water and in case you forgot.....there is NO boat buy out this year.

Just for people with anchors. Every time you log on one is poured for you.

Thanks Kenny. I didn't start this thread to pick a fight or discuss anchors (but I'm always willing to discuss Beer).

I really do think it's cool that the Carver forum has taking off like it has. Many people agree that it's a great resource for Carver owners, and you Kenny, deserve much of that credit.

I'd like to see similar activity in the SeaRay side of town, but it's something that seems to happen rather randomly.

Now he's drinking our beer and browning up Kenny....when will it stop???Next he will want pictures of our Admirals.

Now they found out about the pics - is there anything held sacred on this forum?????!
Next thing you know the word will get out about all those wild parties on Kenny's boat...

You are busted because I have been following the Searay site for 4 years.
You also have been subjected to some of the obnoxious comments of those with big boats being proud of how much fuel their big boats and big cars use and even place these items in their signatures. They claim some form of entitlement to these resources so... damn the environment and our future- drill me some more oil.
I enjoy the DIY threads on all of the boating forums but find it amusing when there is an in- depth thread related to the finish wearing off someones faucet.
I am practicing not engaging with some of the bullies on the site that will support to the death their right to drink and play loud music til late at night in a quiet anchorage. I have not noticed this type of behavior on the Carver forum yet.

Well its all over now you guys, because I just put a call in "Pimp my Boat" and I have ordered up some flashing lights, 4 foot speakers and and a set of chrome rocket launchers that will make your head spin. Cool and loud is going to be our motto for 2009.
If you can't beat them...join them. Dancing woman, walkin refrigerators for the free Kalik and free fuel for everybody.
I am going to do a buy out....$800 gazillion

This is exactly the what we dont want. Poor Jim in upstate NY overlooking a frozen lake. He is either low on beer or heavily medicated and has fallen to the words of a fellow non Carver boater.
This is all it takes people...every fallen empire starts with the first person and then the snowball effect.
First the weak and then the woman and children, before you know it it becomes a numbers game.
Be strong people, we are half way thru the winter season and soon you will smelling the fresh wax on your hull. Be strong, dont falter, call a fellow Carver boater and chat about the warm days.
If you can not do this on your own, go to your Carver dealer and sit in the showroom for a couple of hours.
If this does not work call 1-800-dontdoit and help will be sent to you.
Be strong fellow boaters warmer days are just around the corner.
Bahama Bob

excelbob- I will visit my boat today and plead with Saint Carver to give me strength.
