Swampy looking to go all LED in and out.

Kits on flea bay seem to put water proof tubes and million color LEDs in the $100 range but then I am limited to their tube lengths which are not perfect.

Never really played with LEDs except to upgrade existing nav lights to led.

Is there an easier way to custom length what I need myself and still have water and salt air proof?

Lastly engine room needs lights ... Gas powered boat....any spark risk?

As always thanks for sage advice

I replaced all my interior and exterior lights, except the spotlight, a couple years ago. I did not do any custom stuff, but I swapped all my bulbs with LED replacements. Search for SuperBrightBulbs for a good site. They have all sorts of options depending how you want to go. I don't have a single incandescent bulb on my boat now.

As for the engine room, do you have lights in there now? LED or not, there is always a risk with spark, so I am not sure if there are marine tested for this type of application.

I did it and have never looked back. One of the best things I have ever done to the boat. Superbrightbulbs or superbrightleds is where to go.........D......
