The tilt on my stern Drive did not work, and I have an inboard/outboard and it was unable to be done manually so the Boat Yard recommended that I had it painted with this special kind of interlux paint.
They told me that I did not need to have it out of the water when it was not in use( My boat stays in salt water). They said that most people with a boat the size of mine with an inboard/outboard motor use this paint and it will keep the Lower Unit good for 3 to 4 years then I will have to have it repainted again. This paint is supposed to keep the Lower Unit from corroding in the salt water. Is this true?
