I have some pretty bad water spots on my windshield that I can't get off.It seems the sprinkler system was hitting the window. I have tried water and vinegar and a mild polish with no luck. Going to try barkeepers friend and see if that works. Anyone have anything that they tried and had good luck with. Thanks.

When I had spots that wouldn't come out, used a Mr. Clean Magic eraser-----worked.

Or try the kind of cleaner-polish designed for ceramic stove tops.......

When the water spots are finally removed, put Rainex on the windshield to prevent future problems. Do NOT use Rainex on plastic-type windows!

will try the magic eraser and stove cleaner thanks. Spots are smooth but stubborn has heck.

I used a product from a glass shop called Amaze. It's a past type and I used it with a foam pad on a low speed buffer. Cleaned them right up. Great for shower doors at home too!

Whink will do the job. Do small areas at a time. Keep away from aluminum & rinse well after applying. Can use a rag or sponge or any absorbent applicator.

I have used 3M Finesse-It-II and it works. I would think Buff Magic would also.

I just used 3M Finess it with an orbital buffer and a black foam polishing pad, cleaned it right up anf the Trojan 44o Express has some BIG wind shields.
The spots have bugged me for years.[:-hspin]
