Hi guy's,
I just found this forum and love it! My name is Karl and I keep my boat in Marlboro, NY, about 8 miles north of Newburgh. Just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome aboard Karl. We don't seem to have many boaters from that area of the river. Always good to have more local knowledge.
 
Welcome Karl..We had the privelage of spending a night in your marina about 40 years ago. Was towing a friend back to Haverstraw at a very sloe pace and we pulled in to the marina around 10 pm to get a couple hours rest.

There are alot of great people here so get and throw your 2 cents worth in...
 
Thanks for the warm welcome! I've got a question for you fella's in Haverstraw Marina. When's the new restaurant opening. I come down your way at least once a year and have really missed the restarant. Did I hear July 4th?

They are close so the 4th could be possible but I heard talk of August.
 
Hey Karl! Welcome.

We stopped in at MYC back in '99 when the Scott Turocomo was ripping up all the power and gas lines in the Hudson. The folks there let us tie up until the CG opened up the river again. You are welcome to raft up with us anytime! We were in a boat named Captivator at the time.

Thanks, that's very nice! I actually come up to the creek quite a bit. We're thinking of coming up next week in fact. I remember when that happened although I wasn't in the club yet. Didn't join until 2000.

No word on the exact restaurant date. They are dreaming for July though.
 
Welcome aboard Karl, I'm across the river from you at White's. What is gas running now at West Shore? I paid $4.599 yesterday, fortunately I only needed 36 gallons to get back to full!
