We all know how much you miss this so here are a few pictures to keep you from getting home sick! :D

And this is only 2 hours into the storm....

Butch, none of Caryl clearing the driveway???

Wow. The way things are going down here, we were certain Al Gore was right and that global warming had a firm hold of us. The way things are looking maybe you need a diesel powered snow blower with a heated cab for Caryl?

We are now 5 hours into the storm....

No Mike, Caryl has been busy getting the house lights up. She really had me worried when she was up on the roof.

beautiful scenes................ when viewed remotely.

No Im afraid I stopped her. It was getting close to dinner time and she had to clear the deck to get to the grill...

Yes it is nice in a picture but as far as being there, no thanks....

So what was the final tally there? I'm afraid to call folks up north today.

Too much Dan, with more on the way over the next several days. Sure am happy to be to sick to shovel. Got the son feeling guilty and helping me out.

I think its safe to say there is 12" of snow on the deck. And as John said, more tonight into tomorrow. Oh did I mention it is 16* outside.

Youch. It was dead calm here today so we took a dink ride to "Spoil Island" off Guana Cay. Good shell hunting over there. We spooked up a couple of 4 foot spotted rays which went right under us. Maybe we had better lay off the inlaws with a phone call until things settle down up there.

I posted this in an NBR thread but it belongs here as well.

See Dan, you are not the only one in shorts and crocs this fine December day!

Another 3" - 6" forcast for tomorrow morning, starting at 3 AM

John

We have to admit you have the fixings for a frosty martini!

No crocs on this boat only flip flops. Watch the mix match with the meds! Even though people might say some kinds of Gin s*&K we are using Bombay saphire down here lately ;). We thought for sure that wine etc. would be cheaper, and wow were we wrong. We can't wait to get over to Marsh Harbour next month so we can stock up with "relative" economy.
This photo is of the south west side of 'Spoil Island' which is manmade (sorry George).
They were hoping to lure the cruise ships in here but in spite of all the dredging etc. it seems the rage at Whale channel and Loggerhead was too much for even the cruise ships!

Hey Dan - Did I tell you that I don;t like you very much.

Looks like you found some nice boating waters. Nothing like the good ole Hudson.

I look at it this way, over the years Mike has been posting enviable photos of Croton so I had to do something ;)

I guess this means when you come back north you won't be bringing as much wine?

Hey - I can bring the wine still. Love to have a few bottles discussing your adventure. Enjoy it - It looks great down there.

Sounds like a plan. All we have to do is convince ourselves to come north again!

I would wait awhile, 6 more inches today. Only 102 days till we splash..... [:-censored]

Yeah, they got close to another foot up in Kingston from what we hear. This winter is off to a bad start. Hopefully you folks get an Indian Summer that melts this stuff away.
