How do you cut window blinds?

In the store they have a machine to cut aluminum mini blinds to width. Naturally since I am replacing blinds on a boat it isn't that simple. The blinds match a window shape that is ВЅ a trapezoid on one side. So I need to cut the top rail to one length and the bottom rail several inches wider and all the slats in between at incrementally longer widths corresponding to their position on the blind. The store can only cut sides parallel and various blind shops also don't have a clue. Boat blinds specialty shops are a zillion dollars more than HD or wallyworld.
 
I don't know if this will work for you, but I cut some plastic miniblinds using my electric miter saw. I cut mine straight on each side, but I don't see why you couldn't cut at an angle.

A bit labor intensive but remove the slats and stagger them. Secure with tape and take them to Home Depot and have them cut straight. When you line them up you will have a "diagonally" cut
 
You can probably cut aluminum mini blinds with scissors or metal snips. With the blinds in place I'd mark them to match the window profile, then cut each slat to suit. Finish off the edges with emery cloth. Very likely you can do the whole operation without removing the blinds.

You can use a Japanese Finish Saw on wood blinds. It looks more like a small meat cleaver but works very well on precise jobs needing a good finished edge in one step.
