Since my wet sanding project I've been using pro polish after cleanings and am finding it's way more cost effective to buy it in bulk. A 16oz bottle gets me about 4 times on the whole hull. If I bought a gallon, would it last for a few seasons? Didn't know if it'd get "weird" after a while and make it a waste.

I have some that's over a year old ... still seems OK.

My experience with Pro Polish is that once it gets older than a year or so, it seems to separate with the white "polish" turning thicker and a clear water-like liquid dropping out. Constant shaking of the bottle is necessary to keep everything in suspension. It still works, but is a pain in the backside to constantly be shaking the bottle. I now will only buy enough product for a year. When Boaters World closed in our area, I bought several bottles at less than half price. Wasn't as smart as I thot i wuz.

Thanks for the insite. A gallon would likely last me a few years so maybe I'll just stick with the 16oz sizes but I've found places to get them about 7 cheaper than what I paid through the marina's catalog.
