The Hudson Water Club is no longer (after Memorial Day) giving the discount to Haverstraw Marina members. Just found that out last night. I guess they must be getting enough off-the- street business now where marina business is not that important.

We went in for drinks with a couple of friends the other evening, and our friends ordered martini's. . . . $15.00 EACH!!

I thought I had fallen asleep and awoken in Manhattan. After our friends complained, (to no avail), they ordered a second round. Go figure.

BTW; If you stop by on green dock, we can give you a much better deal before heading up to the tiki bar.

SPBM offers $7/$5 large/small drinks although they are in plastic cups!

I will say I was never a fan of the Hudson Water Club but it was nice to stop at once in a while. A shame they are taking advantage of those that really help keep them going in the lean times...

You are getting plastic cups for the $12 drinks too.

It's allot cheaper to drink on the boat.

It's amazing taht they would charge that amount in this economy, but it's even more amazing that people would pay that!!!!

I wonder what's next for the Hudson Water Club? Mandatory $1000 club fee's towards dinner and a screw umm driver?

I had one of those $12 martini's, and it was pretty damn good!

I agree the drinks are expensive, but the two times we have eaten there this season, the food has been excellent and reasonably priced.

This was only the second time we have eaten there. Our meals were excellent and not unreasonably priced for a riverfront restaurant. The service was good and for a Sunday evening it was pretty crowded. We did not order drinks this time so we got away pretty cheap.

Tommy Kelly a B-Dock off spring of Never Forget bartends at the Tiki Bar on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Now you can justify supporting a cause. Erika and I went for lunch today. Very nice. They seem to put the focus on quality food, not just the atmosphere. It will make the difference in the long run especially if they want to survive in the winter. I can at least speak for the seafood. I do not sell them yet, but I can tell you they are using quality product.

Todd, for a place ON the water, with excellent food, the prices are not bad. Their New England Clam chowder was one of the best I ever had. The rack of lamb was delicious. It's the drinks that drive the prices way up.

Warren,

Do you own a fish market or restraunt? I saw a few fishy comments about you.

I agree with Mike. I think the prices are appropriate for the quality of the food, and possibly reasonable for waterside. Their scallops and mussles are great. Yes I am in the fish business.
