Last year the blue claw crabs seem to be more plentiful than in the past. This year the numbers are outstanding and reminds me of days long ago. It is so nice to see something turn around after many years of decline.
We went crabbing the other night and could not believe how good the action was. After an hour we figured we had enough and that was after throwing back all females and anything small-midsize.
It was lots of fun.
