Is it Spring yet?

Ah. Good thinking! Got the boat in today. Hooked it to shore power, light all working, refrigerators all working, ice maker on (not sure why). Saturday will get the engines running.

Mike, your platform is missing...

Great, now it will be easier to get in and out of my slip!

First night on the boat, rocking BUT who cares!!! Got pizza delivery all the way to my dinghy, didn't had to walk a yard :-)

Allen I was having a hard time trying to clean the boat yesterday the boat was rocking so hard! I hope it laid down a bit for you and the kids to get some sleep.

I thought it was supposed to be calm in Haverstraw...

Rocky until 10:00 or so, then i fell asleep and it stopped rocking :-) i think. It rained all night so our boats must be clean!

Not yesterday it was nasty out! It was about as bad as I have seen it there. I like when the boats beyond me on the dock go in it helps smooth things out!

Allen glad it calmed down for your first night on board. I will be up there in a bit, I need to stop and buy a new brush and pole I broke mine yesterday scrubbing the decks.

Cablevision connected and kids are watching tv! Again HM is ahead of schedule. Started my AC system, going to work on the engines.

Today will be my first short trip of the season dropping the boat off for new canvas.

First time on the boat yesterday. Got a good part of the cockpit waxed. Felt wonderful hanging out, rocking and rolling with the water, and shooting the breeze with a good friend. Plus my new puppy did great with her first time on the boat. Played a little, slept a lot. Seems like she is going to be right at home on the boat and she loves water!! Makes me very happy!

Last night was second night on the boat with the family. THANK GOD for 2 ac units. Was 33 degrees out and still very cold outside. Kids are off to Hebrew school and I start cleaning!

Thanks Mike! I hope she grows into boating like most of the B dock dogs. Amber just didn't. Mostly because she was a cold weather dog and anything over 70 was tropical to her. This one was bred not to have that thick undercoat. So fingers crossed we will be able to have a good boating season with her.

Now you are going to have to post pictures of the puppy so we can see her!
