I need to pull up at least sections of the floor in my 21ft Century Cuddy 4000. There is a section of the floor that are on their way out. Mostly on the starboard side about half way back. But I will tear up the carpet and look for all the bad spots and there will likely be more.

I do not believe that the stringers or transom will need to be replaced.. i havent found any spots on either that aren't solid..

Anyway. I am planning to tear it up at the end of the season here in Chicago.

Just looking for some rough estimats on labor hours involved and costs for supplies? really rough ballparks are fine..

its hard to give an estimate until you get the carpet off of there and see whats really under there. the fact that you think the stringers re fine... well, its rare that a floor goes soft with no damage to the stringers from what i experience.
i once helped a friend pull the old floor out, as all he thought he had to do was replace that. once the floor was out, there used to be fiberglass encapsulated stringers. all that was left was the fiberglass. all the wood rotted out from the inside and there was nothing left

Ayuh! can o' worms.

I was going to replace a wet transom to accept a BII transom assembly. Ended up having to remove every splinter of wood between the transom and cuddy. Epoxy alone was 25 Gal and over $2K...but I did a bit more than just replace what was there.

What a fun project!
