Long Island Sound Trip

I was wondering if you guys could give me some info. I am interested in doing a long weekend trip and was looking for some destinations. I am out of City Island. I have a 25 Foot Crownline 250 CR (7.4L Bravo 3, Single I/O.) I have been boating for 3 years, and have stayed strictly North Shore. What I really want to do is start in City Island and go out to Block Island, and then do the south shore on the way back. I was wondering if this is even possible in my size boat. I have always been on the sound side of the island so I dont know how it is. Just curious if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks
