Looking for surveyor in Lagrangeville, NY area.

Lagrangeville is just a little northeast of Newburgh. Am thinking about making the 4.5 hour drive to check out a boat, and, if a good friend of mine can't go, I think I'd like to have a surveyor check it out with me if that's possible. Have not used a surveyor before so am completely new to the concept. Any suggestions?
