Marina's

Looking for a nice marina with a pool for the kids. Live in Bergen County NJ, and now boat in Stony Point NY. (30 miles from the house)

As close to the GW bridge as I can get would be good. looking at Castaways Yach Club and Marina in New Rochelle, looks nice.
Any input would be healful.

We used to live close to the Castaways
Its a good area. If that is the area your decide on, check out Imperial next door - both are nice marinas.
BUT it seems like a long ride from Bergen county, I used to have a office in Northvale NJ and it was a 45 min ride 20 years ago when there was less trafic

Your right, the ride from my house now to Stony Point NY is about 40 min.
The Marina's up in Stony Point are going downhill fast. The 4 marinas in question are going to be sold in the near future for condo's.
They are now in dis repair.

There really isn't any place to go, that's nice left in that area. Haverstraw Marine is the only one left.

We like the Long Island sound, and have been going into the sound for a few years now.
