Ok, so my '71 Glastron was originally puke green. I had sanded that primed and painted it beige, boat looked good till my kid decided to take bright red boot stripe paint and just paint right over it. no sanding no prep work.

What do you suggest I use to get both layers of red and beige off so I can get back down to the puke green???

Once I am at the green I am going to clean the green up. compound it, and then use Xkote to get a real nice deep shine..

any thoughts?

I had originally used a 2 part poly..maybe interlux..it was brushed on not sprayed..

boy wonder used boot striping paint..

I would contact tech support at International Paint, a division of AkzoNobel. Why not talk to the people who know? They use to have a plant in Union, NJ when I called on them 10 years ago. Not sure if they are still there. Tech support will give the best answer as they know their products better than distributor, retailer or user.
According to their website; they still have plant in Union, NJ.
