Just curious Walter, how do you know about this?

Dave, we stayed at Treasure Cove one year, it is right next to the Aquarium, they have a pool and a decent restaurant on premises. Follow the channel carefully from the end of Peconic Bay to Riverhead.

If you don't need the pool, you can tie up to the town bulkhead just past Treasure Cove, it's a lot cheaper. The town is right there, some decent delis and a WM.

Ok.
FYI
I am booked at Mystic River Marina nites of June 26,27 and 28. Departing on 6/29.

Dave ,
Were in treasure cove for the month of August... If u go to there web site.. Somehow ... I got in there pictures ... : )

The public docks have been empty.... I wouldnt leave my boat there... ( publlic docks )

Treasure coves pool is excellent. The resturant right there is good....

WE have alot fun ...

Rob

Dave...Dave who?

That ain't Denise, thats Walter.

Don, I was looking at WHB on marinas.com and its on the wrong side of the canal. How do u get to the ocean from there?

Also does anyone know anything about maidstone harbor in East Hampton? Looks like it has a pool. Was thinking of that instead of Sag.

Also Treasure Cove in Riverhead looks nice too!

Dave, I have been wanting to get to Three Mile Harbor for a few years now. Seems that I end up elsewhere. There are a few nice marinas within 3 mile harbor. I hear they have great fireworks on some weekends.

Ok, just got off the phone with the Sag Harbor police who told me who owns the waterfront marina
It turns out they own Malloy’s as well and that they can take reservations from April 15th on.
So I will call them on the 15th to book, let me know who else want in on Sag

I do and Walter and I guess he is bringing Denise now!

Andy, you want to try Treasure Cove?

Dave,
FYI

Mystic River took my reservation and credit card over the phone and emailed me a confirmation.

Yeah, someone from my party called and asked them if they were with boatered!

I gave them Boatered today when I called thinking that if my buddy winds up going and I am seeing another for dinner on Sat, that could be 2 more boats. Unlikely, but who knows, we might get lucky and get six.

Dave wife told me:)

$4.70/ft at /EIM - yikes, they are going to see a drop in transient business. I remember whe we started going there about 14 years ago, it was $1.25.

The Gris is not as good as it was back then. I love EIM, but I don't know that it's worth $4.70/ft.

Mike, I think they were at $4.50 last year so I guess they figured they'll try a slight bump up this year. I think we're going to do an Essex trip this year but most likely get a mooring at The Chandlrey. Friends of ours have stayed there and liked it and the moorings are only around $35 a night. Last July we spent 4 nights at Newport for $900, and then 4 nights on a mooring at Martha's Vineyard for $140, and liked that better.

We are all booked for EIM and Mystic River.

Mark, they had you already and asked if we were with boatered, so we said yes, so we are up to 4 boats with boatered.
Anyone else wants to join us, great. If we get 2 more boats at Mystic, we get a discount.

Still didn't get through to WHB, but I will try Monday.

Andy, Any ideas for Sag or East Hampton or Riverhead?

John, that's one of the reasons we didn't stay there last year. If you are going to do a mooring, I would recommend that you go a bit further up to Hamburg Cove and get one in there for $20.00/night.

If you need to get to town, the dink ride is not too bad.

The marinas in Sag will start taking reservations on April 15th
I will call then
We are set for WHB(2/3/4/5) & Greenport(5/6/7)

Right, forgot you said that.
Been busy at work so I forget what's going on at Boatered.
Gonna be in Germany 3 of the next 4 weeks!

Mike, I thought of going to Hamburg Cove also. How does it work there, they are private moorings but you can just grab one and they collect later? Maybe I'll split it, do a couple nights on a reserved mooring closer to town (especially if we go close to July 4), and then a night or two at Hamburg.
