........anyone have plans to attend ??

We have limited time this year so we might go on New Year's Day or I may go over myself during that week.

We'll be going in on opening day.....around noonish.

I'll probably go one night after work but won't decide on the day until the last minute most likely.

I will most likely go a couple days mid week during a bit of a long lunch since I am not that far. A quick cab to a from.

I'm going there this Sunday. No checkbook!!! My signature is good as gold :) Nope, not this year.

I'll probably go Wednesday or Thursday after work.

Was a quiet show.... No big electronics guys this year.... ( raymarine etc )

That new silverton ( ovington with triple IPS ) was awesome... as well as the new 44 meridian....

Nice fit and finish... ..

YES........The Silverton 36 Sedan got my wifes attention. Could be a good thing !!

Don,
Was good seeing u at the show .... Thanx ofr the heads up on the pics. Did u get the one i sent to ur phone? It came from that album at the ss3 tiki hut

Rob

The Silverton, AKA Ovation is a nice boat, like all Silvertons, the fit and finish is nice. Anyone catch a price on this beast? Triple motors, sounds like alot of maintenence, repair costs, etc. Does a 52' boat really need three motors?

Don,
My boat is the 36c, difference being they put a center island berth in the master stateroom, IMHO, very good improvement. The real length of the hull is 37' 2 " , LOA is 40'1", it is a sweet boat, performance wise as well as room.

Anyone see the new Meridian 441, and if so was the price 575k?

Walter

Rob...... Good seeing you & Tony at the show also. Gina showed us the book of all SS3's 2007 events.....real nice collection.....would like to get a copy. When we got home my M/M Life Styles mag was in the mail.....noticed your girls on the cover.....thank goodness they have your wifes looks and not yours !

Walter...... The Ovation had a long line to board.......we didn't get on. Did see the new 36C...... Deb liked it the best of the show.... I think its a sweet boat....nice floor plan improvement.
We did get on the Meridians also.......they were OK.

Overall it was a nice show........I have 2 extra ( free ) tickets....if anyone needs.

I saw the 36 Silverton at the Tobay show this year and fell in love with it. The center island berth in the master was real nice, and we really liked the side stateroonm for the kids.
It is a perfect boat for our family of four.
Hopefully we will be moving up into one in the next year or two.
I really like express style boats, but there were a couple of nights at Watch Hill last summer when the bugs chased us inside in the early evening and we were wishing we had a salon to hang out in.

Walt,
The ovation was 1.4 million. The 441 meridian is a beautiful boat. I was amazed at the storage. Very well thought out boat.

The fly bridge was tremendous . Again well thought out .... VERY NICE.....

If I was a bridge guy id be giving serious thought.....

If u want more info USe Bruce PARKER.... he will take great care of u .

I was just reading the new SeaRay magazine (yeah, they still send it to me becuase I used to own a Searay). There is a article on the merc zeus system. Similiar to the volvo IPS, but the props are read facing and dual props like a B3. It is controlled by a joystick, which seems interesting, becuase then I wonder what the steering wheel is for. The twin drives have independent steering as well. Seems very interesting, but again, similiar to the IPS, if you hit bottom with these guys, your repair costs could be high!

Anyone see this at the show?
