Navigating Moriches - Even the Whales can't do it!

If you go to facebook and watch a group called locals only, they attempted to get a dredge out there yesterday.
They got all the way to the whale but the FEDS would not let the attempt it.
Stupid feds, though they said the NOAA rep out there was nice and wanted them to proceed.
They can't because of the federal law and noone can find anyone to allow a lapse in the law to allow private citizens make an attempt.
So the government just stands by.

Today the dredge is heading back out and the FEDS are sending in a vet to see if freeing the whale will even help. Since he has been stuck for 3 days now he may be close to death and freeing him may just kill him. So euthnaize him may be best answer according the FEDS.
 
Feds euthanized it.
Never gave anyone a chance to try any rescue.
Aholes - all of them.
This is what is wrong in our government, we make rules, we follow them, but there i no way to get quick decisions when needed to go around them.
They let the thing suffer for 3 days and declare it has too much internal damage.
The did the same thing in 2010 and that whale was determined to have no damage and no illness.
They follow a basic government script!

So pissed at how we operate. Plus our tax dollars went to kill him when we had dredges there operating for free that were not allowed near him!
