It looks like KVH has replaced the "M" series (and others) with the "TV" series. The M1 became the TV1. New and improved they say. A price increase seems to be there too.

Does anyone know of any close-out sales on the M series?

KVH had a $500 rebate in effect until the end of July (now gone from the web site) but it had to be purchased through a KVH dealer. I asked KVH if any of the ebay sellers, who have better prices, were official dealers and they said no. The ebay sellers are about $500 cheaper than the dealers for the M1.

After my search for a cheaper screw, I now am looking for a cheaper dish.
 
I purchased my 1st M3 on DIRECT from KVH. It was pretty expensive it was early in the launch of the product. Now the M3 I have to put in my Trawler I purchased used and got a fairly good deal. Activation was easy they sent me a new SIM like credit looking card, once I received it, installed it and then I called KVH and it was on the air in minutes.
Unfortunately I haven't had any time to work on the trawler. It looks like my company is being bought out but I need to stay..........
The big deal with the new units is the TV receivers can be connected via wireless. I prefer wired but I took the training for the new units they are pretty slick.
