Newbie frustrated using Buff Magic

This Flex DA will work with buff magic is my guess. This is a solid tool.

ps, I love the under water lines of the Trojan, I bet shes a smooth ride
 
I have the flex rotary and it works great, but gets heavy....

Looking for a better polymer sealer than pro polish. Any suggestions?

Well, I went out last night and tried again with better results. I think my problems are a combination of too much product and not getting the entire face of the pad onto the hull. I did not get too far but I was definitely happier.

Thanks for all of the advice.

DuPont might vote otherwise.

Saw that last year when I was researching Pro Polish. Even spoke to one of their R&D folks and inquired about waxes/polishes which claim that they "chemically bond" to the gel coat.

Whether or not the teflon does anything or not, can't argue with results (at least 10 years of it)
 
Jonathan, did all the way up above the rub rail.

I used Star Brite Teflon polish - I've had good results with it in the past, usually lasts an entire season.
 
Just finished doing my black hull with BM. I am beyond pleased with the results. I than used colonite insulator wax. Looks better than new. Harbor freight machine. 3 wool pads for each side and a couple of towels. I brushed on the BM with a chip brush very thin coat and worked until it was gone side to side. I did notice that if the pads got to loaded up the polisher would bounce. The BM even took out fine 1200 grit sanding marks.
