My boat sat under some trees for over a year and the front nonskid deck area is very grimy. I tried the Star-Brite nonskid deck cleaner with PFTE and it did not do a good job even though I followed the directions.

Are there better products or do I just need to clean it about 10 times to get is back to being a white deck?

Power washer...no cleaners needed. You'll be amazed. I bought a cheapie $99 electric unit and my boat is the cleanest it has been since I owned it. loaned it to the guy in the slip behind me...his boat was filthy and it's the cleanest I've ever seen it.
One of my other marina neighbors has a couple of white plastic chairs that had become very dinghy gray. She tried numerous cleaners including bleach and nothing worked. Power washer made it look almost new again.

I use my pressure washer and "Super Clean" then a house type floor wax, only on the non-skid. I've done that for 30 years on mine and it looks like new today.

That Non-Skid can be a molded checkerboard pattern or a molded to look like Sand. We have the Sandy version and Pressure Washer is the answer. I don't wax it, though.

The kitchen type floor wax will seal it for the season. I sure don't want to pressure wash mine every weekend, that is what I would have to do without the wax. The hose works with the wax.

Scrub it with "Barkeepers Friend" - then pressure wash it

I use Soft Scrub and a deck brush a couple times per year. It has bleach and will clean it up nicely.

No need to use any kind of cleaner.
I've used numerous cleaners on my boat, both mild and kinda harsh. Nothing cleaned it like my power washer. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Just be careful to find that sweet spot where you are cleaning the surface but not damaging it. As said above, don't use it on teak.

I was told by Star Brite to use their instant hull cleaner as the dirt from leaves, sap is different than the fish guts one might normally get on a boat non skid surface.

Neither Star-Brite Hull Cleaner (Instant) nor FSR did anything to the dirty areas.
