Made the mistake of touching my upholstery after turning on the batteries on and getting grease/oil on my fingers. Tried scrubbing it out with soap and water, but it won't budge. Any ideas?

Thanks

John

Maguires Heavy duty Rubber and vinyl Cleaner and a nylon brush. Best upholstery cleaner I've found. Could also use a Mr Clean Magic eraser. Harder on the material though.

If it's upholstery try spray nine or Maguires vinyl and rubber cleaner.

If it's fabric try procyon spot remover. Go to their web site for local dealers. It's the best fabric and carpet cleaner you'll find.

Starbrite is planning on repackaging their Non Skid Deck cleaner as a vinyl and general purpose cleaner. It apparently works well on surfaces besides non skid decks.

You could try this on your upholstry.

Another suggestion would be hand cleaner, the type mechanics use to get grease and oil off their hands.

Finally, Mr Clean Magic Eraser works wonders on vinyl.

My dad was an oil burner mechanic and GOOP was the hand cleaner that he used on both his hands and his clothes to remove the oil. Don't know how it will work on upholtery, but you should use an uphostery cleaner to extract any liquid you use or you will have a water stain on the fabric.

Mommy's goin' to be mad... Goop or the orange hand cleaner works well, Shout with oxy clean is good stuff to.
