Steve: Look at allinflatables dot com. They are suppliers for SRC Tuff stuff inflatable paint. I have never used, but had a friend that was quite satisfied.

I have a PVC 270 Mercruiser inflatable you've seen at Three Mile Harbor. Had some "tea" stains on it from the river, etc. Also some blotchy sticky spots from the trees. It cleans up really good with (believe it or not) softscrub w/bleach. Use it only for the tough spots (with gloves) - not sure it'a good for use all the time on all the PVC. It does make the white quite white. Let it penetrate. Paint would be the last resort. Good luck!

I think it's beyond a good scrubbing. The stickiness is from a chemical breakdown caused by the UV rays from the sun. I looked into SRC inflatable boat paint and it seems that's the way to go. SRC inflatable paint is really not a paint at all. As the letters stand for, it's a Synthetic Rubberized Coating. I've heard great reviews about it and apparently this stuff really works well. However, there's one small glitch. THIS STUFF WOULD COST ME OVER $300.00. To me that's alot of $$ for 4qts of anything! Maybe I'll ask for it as a combination anniversary/Father's Day present (wishfull thinking).

Once those PVC boats get sticky.........there on their way out, I wouldn't put any money into, better off putting your money into a new boat that risk it IMHO.
