I was invited to the patchouge Xmas boat parade this Sunday. What's it all about and is it worth going?
 
ITs supposed to be very cool.... Lots of decorated boats....

it is a great show and this year grucci is doing a small fireworks show outside the river and 3 small light shows as they go down the river. best viewing will be at davis park ferry parking area...parade starts at 6, rain or not. i have been in this parade for quite a few years, it is a great show

Fantastic parade, fireworks- nice touch.
IMHO Babes in toyland was outstanding! Hope they won overall but it is hard to top a live band on a boat. Thoughts??

I didn't get to go after all, Got called into work and didn't make it out in time to make the parade...sounded like a fun time!
 
i vote for the live band. should see if the would do watch hill in the summer.
fireworks going down the river was pretty cool. surprised they would do them in such a confined area.
 
babes in toyland won .."best in theme " and "best overall"....what a trip...everyone who did not see the parade missed a great show and alot of hard work from our fellow boaters...by the way...i was ."babes in toyland"...and thanks to all my very close friends for all their hard work and help, without them we could never have accomplished all that was done to the boat...i love you guys
