Hello, I'm refitting a 1981 Silverton 31C, and its almost time to paint. I'm painting basically everything. Since I have varied substrates (from gelcoat to some epoxy where repairs were made to old paint of unknown origin), I was thinking a 1 part paint like Easypoxy would work well, but I would like the durability of a 2 part paint. The substrate requirements for a paint like Perfection may be too stringent for my project. But there is a 2 part polyurethane made by Petit, called easypoxy 2. On their site, it calls to use the same primer as for their 1 part paints. My question is has anyone used easypoxy 2, and is it better than the one part paint?
