Purchased new/used boat with Raymarine E series radar/chartplotter as well as two additional displays one an autopilot and the other giving me voltage/depth etc. WHEN I power down the raadar diplay the other two display reamin on........how to shut them off?

On my boat the autopilot and depthfinder are powered by a switch on the dash called electronics.
The E series has it's own switch on it.
I always have to power the electronics before the E series or the autopilot won't work right.

I know what you are talking about but I have no idea how to change the behavior...sometimes when I power down the main screen the other displays will shutdown along with it and sometimes they stay on. I have no idea why.
I'm sure if I RTFM it's in there but who has time for that

Those other displays are getting power from the Seatalk bus. If you want to power them down, you must put a switch in the hot [red] leg of the Seatalk network.
