Removal of Emron Paint

1985 Trojan stripes are weathered and worn. I want to remove and either repaint or leave off. Does anyone know the best way to accomplish this?

It is dupont Imron. probably only sanding will remove it. Just prep as dupont instructs and paint over.

Well.....I know first hand that brake fluid will remove Imron. I am in no way recommending the use of brake fluid. But it sure will do a wonderful job on removing the paint, I however did not want it removed.

Did you put the brake fluid can on the fender, too???[:I]

Nahhhh, the master cylinder decided to leak on the frame that I had sandblasted and painted. I ended up spending a couple of hundred hours redoing the frame. had to pull the body back off and all the drive train. I cant decide now if I have more time and money in the boat or the Corvette.
