Replacement choke kit

Somehow my choke disappeared while having engine rebuilt. Now that engine is back in the boat as I am hooking everything back up I notice that the choke is missing.

It is a divorced choke for a quadajet Mercruiser part 66205 which is no longer available.

Will the Edelbrock 1935 choke kit work as a replacement ?
Or any other kits anyone know will work. Thanks.

You boat in Fl??? I live in the SF area(lot colder) and I removed not only the choke plate but the linkage as well as the shaft. The only reason to have a choke is if you have very cold weather. Pump the throttle a couple times and it will richen the fuel/air for start-up. Actually, there's no good reason for a boat to have a choke on a carbed engine. Advance the throttle during warm-up(about 1100 RPM) and you're good.

A little more info for those who may need it. During start-up, running around 1100-1200 RPM is high enuff to oil the cam. Flat tappet cam lobes are oiled by drip-down from the lifters and by splash from the crank shaft counter weights
