Hi im new to boating on the hudson
does anyone know of any good resteraunts to dock and dine at?

Erik, welcome to boating and HRCC. Look for the magazine Boating On The Hudson, it will have articles and ads on places to eat along the river. Or just stay tuned, others will chime in. Since you are based in Jersey it will be cheap for you to fill up with gas and come up hte river, but you may have to learn the tides in order to get back home.

Newburgh would be a great destination for you, they have about 7 restaurants to choose from with all sorts of cuisine.

The restaurant at Stony Point Bay Marina is surprisingly good this year. New chief and he really goes out of his way to make it an enjoyable experience. They even have a breakfast buffet on the weekends that is very good.

Open Thursday thru Sunday for dinner, weekends for breakfast and lunch as well.

Quite a few ppl at my club go to Washington Irving for burgers and such, just north of the TZ.
